Cannot install backup

I am trying to install the backup program for Microsoft Outlook 2003 but during the installation It tells me it is already installed and would I like to remove it before installation can begin to which I say yes, and then it comes back with cannot uninstall as it does not exist........

This is Microsoft gone mad, does anybody know how I can uninstall this program (that does not exist) I have checked all of the usual places but can see nothing relating to "Microsoft Personal Folders Backup "......

I have recently created a new profile so I could get autocomplete working (another issue) and it was attached (I presume) to my old profile which has since been deleted.

You should be able to do a repair install of Outlook. If not, uninstall and install it again.
