Internet Freezes

    While I'm connected to the internet there is a freezeup at seemingly random and for varying lengths of time. Where should I start to solve this problem? Thanks for your help.

    When your internet connection freezes can you still do other tasks on the computer or is that frozen too?

    The approach to solving your problem depends on your answer to the above question :)

    Is the problem constant or does it work OK for awhile and then startup again.

    I ask because I have the same problem.

    And it is not always the same site that hangs up. One time this site will hang up and my home page ( MSN.COM ) won't. Other times it is just the reverse.

    Time of day seem to come into play also. Earlier today I had all kinds of hangups but all seems OK right now.

    So I would not be in too big a hurry to make machine adjustments right now.

    BTW. This does not happen on just one machine. It happens on all three.
