I am posting here because I could not find a forum topic for windows 3.0

I have just install win 3.0 ove ms dos 6.22. I did so without a mouse plugged in to the computer.

windows installed ok but now that I have plugged in the mouse and rebooted there is no mouse support.

Can someone suggest what I need. to do.

    Thanks

Probably need to look for drivers for the mouse or try a different mouse. It is a PS2 mouse and not a USB mouse isn't it?

Win 3.0 is not an operating system such as Win95, it is a Graphical User Interface for the Ms-Dos operating system. Your Ms Dos 6.22 is still there and working.
To get the mouse working, all you need to do is add the startup line to the C:\Autoexec.Bat file, such as this one.

    C:\Dos\MsMouse.Exe

If you do not have a dos mouse driver, there is a generic MS one here.
