step by step guide to slipstream xp sp2

    Windows key and letter r bring up Run box

    Type in there eventvwr.msc

    This will bring up event viewer.

    You can see what it fixed or just that it ran and closed, with no change.
    (called windows file protection)

    Just learnt this myself. :)

    Hi James,

    There are 3 sections in event viewer: application, security, and system.
    Honestly I can't remember which one it was. I think application, but someone will jump in if that is incorrect. :)
