Where can you find previous versions of Firefox?

I am looking for Version 1.06. I could not find anything on the Mozilla site.

    Thanks.

Here is a download spot for 1.0.6. Looking at your other post regarding 1.0.7 problems, I'm also interested if you completely remove the previous version of Firefox before upgrading to 1.0.7. I have always removed previous versions before upgrading and have never run into a problem. Try removing Firefox, rebooting, and then reinstalling version 1.0.7. Hopefully, that will take care of your problem. If not, try 1.0.6 and let us know how it comes out.

    Mike,

Please read my latest post in 1.07 thread. I just reinstalled 1.07 and it is still a mess.

I am going to download 1.06 and will remove 1.07 but I have a strange feeling that I may have to forget about Firefox.

I just can't figure out what could be wrong.

    Thanks.

Glad to hear that you were able to get Firefox running again. The theme you want probably needs to be updated, by the author, to get it to work correctly with the new version of Firefox. I look at them as small programs that work fine with your current configuration, but make a change somewhere (no matter how small) and they don't work anymore. Hopefully, they will update the Theme so you can get back what you want.

Just to finalize this, the latest post referred to by vegaspat indicates that FF1.0.7 works fine, as long as a certain theme is not used.
Mike's explanation about the possible incompatibilies for Themes, and Extentions is right on. Themes and Extention are add-ons, which may or may not be integratables from version to version. Unfortunately, the assumption is made that are good forever. Incompatible Extentions are disabled in 1.5. Are Themes, also disabled?

My experience is that incompatible extensions can be made to work with FF 1.0.7, 1.6A2. and 1.5rc3 if the desired extensions have been downloaded as .xpi files, and if the MR Tech Local Install extension is installed first. Local Install's installation window has a checkbox allowing the installation of incompatible extensions. I can't speak for themes, as I use only the FF default.

For what I feel are the only settings really necessary in Local Install, see this post.
