Board access problem

The last few days when I click on my favorites to come to the board I get a warning message "Internet Explorer could not open www.windowsbbs.com" and will abort. Then the cannot find server window comes up and I can either hit refresh or the back button at the bottom of the message and it loads as should. I thought maybe it was corrupt favorite and created a new one but that wasn't it.

Trying to think back what has changed and the only thing I can think of is I uninstalled Nortons and am now running AVG free and Zone Alarm free but that was over a month ago.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Recently ran housecall, spybot and adaware.

Ran Internet Explored repair and it seems to have solved the problem.

Well I spoke too soon, it did it again. I guess I can live with the inconvenience but sure would like to know why it started happening after all these years.
