Ok guys this one has me scratching my head !! On GTG where i am takeing HJT classes i tried to do a log for the classes. I went thru the procedures like always >>>> reply to topic >>> filled in the topic title >>>
topic description >>> open wordpad ( later tried from notepad ) >>> coppied & pasted my fix >>> then i hit the preview post . Then it got half done ( watched the meter in task bar ) then the " page cannot be displayed " showed up !! WHY ??? I have tried this for 4 hrs with the same results, but i can delete half of my fix & the preview will work or i can just type anything in & it will work. So anyone got any ideas ??????
    I have done a cleanup & the sfc /scannow & nothing & cleared cache !!!

    Drastic help needed !!!!!!!
Oh & its not the site i had someone there check it & it works

    Please any suggestions ????????
I have posted this on GTG & 4 other boards, no help so far !!

    Thanks

Try taking a non-gui look at the reply. Open a cmd window and use Edit to open the reply. See if there are any odd symbols and if so, remove them. Just retain the text part.

Assuming you aren't running over some forum-imposed size limit, it should work.

Most forums do have a maximum post length though. We do on here and folks needing to post long files like some of the dump files have to split their reply into 2 or 3 or occasionally even 4 sections before the forum will accept it. You should be some sort of prompt if that is happening but maybe for some reason you just aren't getting warned.
