    Hello Batista,

First, check memory and see if any problem with it http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp

Another check: a potential problem with SP2 and the number of connections permitted per second: http://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=1497

I don't know whether this affects you or not, but a good idea to look in the event viewer to see what kind of errors are being logged by the system.

    start > run > eventvwr.msc > ok

Look for any line that has a red error symbol or yellow warning shield in any of the 3 categories: Application - Security - System.

    Regards - Charles

Have you looked in Task Manager > process tab? What's the RAM and VM usage?

    Hi Batista,

Thanks for posting the TM images.

Ok, something wrong with FF - I've never seen that kind of usage figure!

Have you tried IE to see if that same sort of thing happens?

    Regards - Charles

    Error reading cbResume.Items.Strings: Win32 Error. Code: 14.

No way to know exactly what caused that one since it can be overload of a number of system things. Quite a few FlashFXP versions have triggered the error but usually when there were 8-25 sessions depending on the particular PC and it's available resources.

I agree with charlesvar about the numbers shown for FF being abnormal. It should not be throwing that many page faults. At all. Ever. Regardless of how many tabs are populated. That is not to say that there is anything wrong with a FF browser or that you should consider moving back to an untabbed application for normal use but something is busted and needs to be fixed.

For openers, you could do with more memory. About double what you have now would be good as a starting point. No way to tell from the data posted but if you have a PC with the video as part of the MB like many of the OEM low-cost systems you may have even less than you think because the video is using system memory.

Take a look Here for a quick review of memory use and Firefox.

There may also be errors within your pagefile so try a probram like MoveOnBoot that does deletions while the OS isn't using stuff and select to delete your pagefile. A fresh, new one will be created when you reboot.

    Hi Batista,

    this is about windows.. :|

I suggested trying with IE in order to pin this down. If no problem with IE, that would tell you what to concentrate on.

That's to be expected, nobody suggested trying that

About FF: Yes, looks like a lot of page faults. With 30 tabs, I get 84,668K Mem Usage / 239,290 Page Faults / 119,584 VM Size.

Another thing: your 1st image shows 100% CPU usage. Sort your running processes by CPU time (just click the CPU column), and post another picture so we can see what's taking all this CPU time (if it still does that).
