    Hello
I need to change a file permission that is set to read only. I am trying to do it via Adminstrator Terminal Service on a Windows 2000 Server.
I am logged on as Administrator but it will only allow me to view the permissions but I cannot change them.
I need to copy a file to this folder and reset the permissions.
    Thanks in advance!

Interesting. I just tried it on a .txt file and had no problems so not really sure what is happening in your case. You might want to make sure the folder permissions weren't messed up somehow and Administrator group set to deny or removed altogether from the folder permissions.

If that's OK then just as a test, try making changes using attrib from a cmd window. It may work or if not, it may give you a meaningful error.
