Screen became dark

    One of my computers running Windows 98 became black with extremely large icons. It happened when I was using the mouse on a word doument. I am barely able to see the screen, it is just a light shadow and the icons became extremly large, Any Suggestions? Thanks

    Hi,
    Is your computer a desktop or a laptop ??? The reason I ask is, because if it's a laptop (?) What's one of the known causes is either the blacklight or one of it attaching components to the backlight...
