In the past, I could click on a link in my Email or on a web site or HERE and be taken to the desired site. If on some sites,e.g. MS.com and some others,
I will be taken to the site. It always worked on NS 7 which is not working now
so I have had to use IE6 and Outlook Express. I have a couple other problems
that might be related to XP Home. The only way I can get to the links is to get their properties then c/p the URL. Any suggestiuons? Joe R

Not clear if the problem is with NS 7 AND IE/OE or just with NS 7?

    Would you please clarify :)

Pete: Thanks for the reply. At present my NS7.0 is not working. I have been working on it for a few weeks :( When it was working , no links problem.
At this time, I must use IE6 and Outlook Express and this is where the problem is at this time. Hope this clarifies the problem and you have a fix.

If I try to click on your LINKS, nothing happens. I had to right click and
    get the URL there.

This may just be another one of my wild ideas but, This reads like an OPEN WITH problem. Things are apparently set for the links to use NS-7.

Or: NS-7 and not IE is set as the default Browser. I tried to find where to set IE as the default but no luck. You may have to check NS-7 properties.

    Links

PeteC: All is well!!! I fixed this problem and a few otheres. After weeks of beating myself up, I just formatted and reinstalled XP. Now this machine
works like it was on cable. And I just clicked on your "LINKS" and went to it then bookmarked it. Next is Ramona's Cherokee links. Now I have to D/L
the Dantz software so I can get some of my backups off my Maxtor.
Thanks for your help. Joe R

Glad to hear you are back to 'square one' - even though you had to take the 'long' route :) Sometimes a format and reinstall is the best answer!
