error when using pc

    i was on my pc when this came up. any ideas please.
    OS: Windows XP Professional, SP2
    CPU: AuthenticAMD, AMD AMD Athlon(tm) XP 3000+, MMX @ 2166 MHz

    Hi Rosha,

    How did it "come up "? Was it in a window? Look for what program is running it...on the heading bar (top left of the window).

    Is it a "one off ", you don't say it has happened more than once?

    It could be a bad load of a program, which could be corrected by rebooting. It could also point to other programs malfunctioning in some way.

    Let us know if it has happened again or other strange things may be happening.

    Check your event viewer for error messages. To open your event viewer, go to Start > Run and type eventvwr.msc, click OK. Check the Application and System logs for errors (which you can double click for more info). Post any errors here.

    mmmmm...thinking about it, it looks like an "interpretation" of programing information. Maybe something is reading the program rather than running it. It may be an association problem (a word processing program is opening an executable??)
