I thought i saw a description of a procedure or routine that could be used to
pull and combine multi-part files, like uue, for large text or music files
somewhere.... This routine was for use within mozilla or firefox.

Anyone know where i could find this procedure or findout if its built into
    FF or Mozilla?

    Thanks,
    savagcl

I did a simple Search asking for uue files & Mozilla, and came up with this gem , a great summary for all things mozilla, Firefox, and why not? Netscape6/7.

Wow! It is pretty convoluted but it will work.

My search for "multipart" and Mozilla didnt spot this i guess.

    Thanks, Westside,
    savagcl

My old netscape 4.7 is easier, but at least now i know how.

At least you got an answer. I looked at other items in the search, and I did not even understand them. I think that I understood this one.
Certain things that are a given in the Microsoft program, are not in the newer gecko based programs. This is all due to their adherence to w3c. And, if someone is still wondering why AOL "murdered" Netscape, it was because of this.
And, although they figured out the browser part (Netscape8), nothing has come out for Mail, which would satisfy everyone. AOL is in trouble, as it is, but can you imagine them embracing programs which do not enclose all features.

Yes, I got the answer, thanks to you, Westside.

Wonder why Mozilla dont have it built in or at least an addon?

As far as AOL, nothing they do surprises me anymore. Long as a buck can be
made, they're there. Big mistake by netscape to allow them in......
