delete remote print queue

(1) is there a easier way to delete Window 98 (Client) remote print queue from Windows XP (Host) besides the following method:
Turning off win xp 'print spooler services', re-start win XP PC, Comfirming that the remote print queue was deleted, turn on Win XP 'print spooler service' & re-start win XP PC again.

(2) non-win XP question:
any body know how to get rid of the residued image on my notebok
LCD screen. The residued image is a small frame at the lower right corner
of the screen, it won't goes away even with notebok power off

Does the 98 Print Queue show up even if there are no documents waiting to print?

What brand of notebook and what does the image look like? Is it possibly a sticker that was put on prior to sale and will simply peel off?
