I cannot get window media player to work with anything (audio or video) I get the following message on video: Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The file is either corrupt or the player does not support the format you are trying to play.
I have tried several different video files. I updated to WMP9 and still get the same message. Even video files I try to open straight off the net won’t play. I tried to uninstall but this is not allowed for some reason. Any help would be much appreciated.

Sorry I took so long to back. Thanks for your suggestion. I downloaded the file and installed it but I still get the same error. I am at wits end.
