Fatal execution engine error

    Hello

    Hope someone can help please. Not sure what I did but when start computer I get this message:

    Fatal Execution Engine error (0x7927e03e)

    Can anyone please let me know how to fix this error.

    Are you running SP2 and are you current on your updates and hotfixes? All of them as you see when you opt for custom updates rather than just looking at the critical security patches.

    .NET was bad about throwing that particular error but I think that .NET 1.1 and the later hotfix took care of it.

    Thanks for replying. Yes I have SP2 and all current updates. This is more of a nuisance when I log on to PC more than anything else, but am concerned that it would damage anything. Not sure if there is anything that can remove this error.
