error when saving to cd-r from word

    Have a problem saving a doc on word to my cd drive. Using a cd-r disk and get the error "selected drive not in use.... ". Drive works for listening to cd's and have installed programs from cd on this drive. any suggestions or advise?

    Thanks for the response. Yes, I can burn cd on this drive ( the drive is a Buslink DBW-1647 , CD/DVD+WR+R drive and is set up as a slave) Are there some settings or something I need to do to my system to get this to save docs?
