Hi, I have a problem that I hope someone can help me with.
The E mails in my "Outbox" can't be deleted or removed. I delete them and they show up in the "Deleted Files" folder and I can empty that, they also show up in the "Sent" folder and I can empty that. I opened them for editing and removed the text & address etc, but they just show up further down( in full) and leave the blank ones listed as well. There is 3 of them and they keep being sent out when I go on line, they are only text but it is a pain ( also for the ones who receive them) .
It happened after I went to sent the messages , as I pressed send there was a lock-up , it came up with a Windows Error box asking if I wanted to send it to Windows, I just clicked " Dont send" & then hit send and off they went , but they stayed in the "Outbox & I have not been able to remove them.
Maybe I will have to remove O.E 6 and reload it , I hope not.
Any suggestions or fixes would be greatly appreciated. Regards Des.

Might try deleteing the file Outbox.dbx loacted here:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{E5C4B58E-0072-4A0E-BA21-DD32793F2322}\Microsoft\Outlook Express

It'll get recreated next time you send a mail.

Hi, Steve. A BIG kiss, Thanks for you help, I couldn't find the file at first, so I did a search and still nothing then I changed my file options to include hidden files and then you instructions were spot on. There was 2 "outlook.dbx "files there, one had a (1) after it and I had to remove both of them and all is good now. BBS has saved me again. Thanks very much ( also from the 3 who were getting all the repeats) Regards Des. :D :D :D
