I have a ZIO 4.2.3.3 Compact card reader which has worked fine until I installed a external I/O drive and now when I am undocked[I use a Dell Latitude] the reader will not work and I can not reinstall the drivers or uninstall it as I get an error as follows: 0x80070724 error RPC Stub incompatible version, When I have the computer docked and pluged into the USB port it works fine. My Lexar jump drive works fine undocked, both are USB and I am using Win98SE USB 1.1. Any ideas?

Followed your link and renamed the Oleaut32.dll file and installed a new one and that cleared up the error and I was able to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the ZIO. BUT my laptop will still not recognize it when I am undocked, docked it reads fine and also if I use a hub on my laptop it will work but works without a hub when docked or on my desktop, which is also running Win 98SE. Real weird and confusing, I could understand if it didn't work on another computer or in the docking station. Thanks for the link.
