    I can't figure it out.
    Sombody dorked up the settings.
Any web page has a white background and all of the text is huge.

Under View / Textsize it's on smaller.

Assuming you've already tried a repair on the browser and dumped/deleted the usual suspects (TIFs, history, cookies), check under tools~internet options and the buttons along the bottom. Especially the Accessibility section.

What version of IE is it? If it's less than ver 6, that could be the problem.

And running on which OS? - repair techniques differ between 98 & XP.

Sorry Pete I just noticed when I made the screen shot I did a alt + prt scn instead of a ctrl + prt scn which would have shown the desktop and the xp start buton. :p

It's XP Pro with all updates.

I poked around in all the IE settings and reset everything I could find and reinstalled Java but no change.
What ever it is, is in all profiles.

    Thanks for the help guys.

Well buddy you were pretty close. ;) ;)

Under Accessibuilty Options the High Contrast box was ticked.

See the 2 screen shots below. One with the box ticked and one without.

    Glad you found it.

Truth be told, I'd never looked at that particular settings piece but I have seen some similar odd happenings from the browser one.
