When I use Windows (or Microsoft) update, it tells me I need to download and isntall Service Pack 2, but when I click "Download and Install" it always says the downloading failed. How do I get this to work?

    Yeah, it says

"Thank you for running the Windows Validation Assistant. It appears that your Windows Product Key is valid. "

Cool! Just place the URL in trusted sites.

It is best to scan and remove any malware before downloading the updates. You should also create a new restore point before installing SP2.

And shut down all other running processes including AntiVirus before installing.
