I have a Small network with 2 PC's on win 2000 that log on to the network at start up, but have bought a laptop with XP home. I need to know how to change the setting so it will also log on to the net work at startup. I can log on to the network manually but this is a bit of a pain. Can anyone help.

Are you sure you don't mean to log into Windows automatically, as opposed to logging into the "Network "?
Unless you are on a domain, you won't actually be logging on to the network

    Edit:
Also if you are on a domain and thats what you are trying to do, you are out of luck.
XP Joke, I mean XP Home cannot join a domain
