    Hi everyone...

I spent quite an amount of time looking on the net for this Scanner (Canon 913800) drivers, but no luck at all.

Sooner or later, while looking for this machine drivers amongst many resources, I get redirected to an specific file at "DriverGuide.com ", but that file is bogus! It only has a copy of an old "AcroRd32.exe" zipped inside. BUGGER !!!

This is a silver, rather small, very flat scanner, powered through USB.

The model numer I gave above was THE ONLY thing recognizable as a "model number" (or the like) I can find in the machine!

Original C.D. is forever lost, but nevermind about their software, I only need the TWAIN modules.

Do someone here has access to a driver C.D. for this Scanner?

    Thanks in Advance... JMMF. ;)

    Thank you for replying, oshwyn5...

Yes, it is an "Scanner Only" model. It is small and extra flat, and only connector it has is USB (both for data and power).

I'll re-examinate it on Monday to see if I missed something, and I'll keep you posted.

    Thanks again... JMMF.

Okay, the look for a number like
CS8400F for the canoscan 8400 line
    or
LiDE 60 for the LiDE line.

Actually it is not your fault
    as you can see here

canon does include model numbers like yours on their scanners; but they do not cross reference for them on their site. The problem is that the the model number you have is to designate which store / chain the particular model of canoscan scanner is sold through.

    ¡¡¡ Problem solved !!!

    I can't belive it...

I found a very small, little, little, well-hidden tag that said "CanoScan FB 636U ". It was under the front button... Sheeeesh !!!

I got an apropriate driver at the link you posted, oshwyn5. Thank you very much for your support!

Another history was, to make WinXP accept the driver for the "Unknown USB Device ". Finally I made it, after several combinations of reboots, connects and disconnects...

Well, thanks again and Good Bye...
