    Hi there :) I am new at this forum. I use to have WINME on dial up but just changed to Windows 2000 on high speed(cable) thanks to my eldest daughter.
    I like stationery, forums to find out info.....no chat rooms!!! and getting to meet all sorts of people from all over world through the computer. I am not very experienced and what I know I have learned from surfing---printing out the info for my own binders and asking many questions@ many forums. Luckily most have been very kind. I only started with computer in 2001 but am totally hooked on it lol
    So let's get to why I came here---I like to change the "you have mail" sound...I did it several times on WINME..but I am wondering if WINDOWS 2000 does it same way. To all you learned "techies" this may seem trivial, but it is something I would like to know about. I don't just mean the usual ones listed....I mean finding one on Internet and using it. I have used WHALES and mail box before. This was my daughter's hard drive before and I noticed she has some .wav files listed...one of a tutor clock has me interested...could anyone tell me how I could access it and use it, please.
    Any help would be appreciated.....thanks!!

    Welcome to WindowsBBS:)

    You would change the sound in Windows 2000 just like you did in Windows ME.

    Control Panel->Sounds
