Spybot S&D 1.4 "bad checksum"

    Hello all!

    I updated Spybot S&D 1.4 today and the "Immunization database" did not install. The Info was "bad checksum ".

    Anyone else experiencing the same?

    I went back and tried a third time. This time it installed OK!

    I get this fairly frequently lately - have been able to solve by changing the download site.

    Bad checksum

    Hi folks,

    I noticed this recently too and tried every download site but still get this 'bad checksum' result to matter how many times I try. Does that mean I am not up to date then|? Anywhere else I can try to download this? Ron

    It does, but of no great concern - there will be another update shortly. Keep on trying - there does seem to be a problem with this update.

    Alternatively try a manual download from ....

    As you may have seen elsewhere there is another Spybot update available with today's date.

    Try using the Safer Networking #1 (Europe) site. It worked for me.
