    hi is there any way to restrict,protect,disaable internet explorer page setup
    or page setup value. because i want to restrict it from guest user to change the values thanx ..

    This can be achieved using Tweaking Toolbox XP - an application written by our BBS Administrator, Arie.

    hi petec this tweaking toolbox xp only run on windows xp what about windows 98 & 2000
    any regsitry tip or just remove page setup from internet explorer.. :rolleyes:

    hi petec thanx for info.
    i i just tried tweaking toolbox xp but it's not help me what i wanted
    i just want to disable or delete page setup of internet explorer like when i print internet pages i have set page setup values like margin fix 1.2 left,right,top,bottom but other guest user they change these value to different so i want to restrict pagesetup margin value or block or delete or restrict that no body can change margin values during printing. thanx
    or any registry tweak for it disable or page setup option from file menu in internet explore i hope you understand.

    I am not sure that what you want to do - Disable - File > Page Setup is possible.

    I can find nothing on Google and there is no Registry key relating to Page Setup (in XP, at least).

    yes i want to Disable - File > Page Setup of internet explorer

    yes i want to put exact margin values in page setup and then want to disable so nobody can change the values because it'll be alerady disable and the value are already fix in page setup can u help how to do it.
    k another question
    same like this possible to change defualt pegsetup margine values ie. hieght and width value in power point like now i check the width is 10 inch and height is 7.5 inches can we change this default value . because if change valuess so the file must have to save but when i open new files the default values comes outs.
    so plz help me out off to modification on pagesetup values in internet explore
    and power point as well thanx a lot

    I am sure that what you want to do is not possible - maybe someone else will know better.

    However I have found that the default margins for IE Page Setup are in this registry key ....

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\PageSetup

    A search of the Registry came up with no references to PowerPoint.

    I can't see how I can help you further on this.

    just now i delete page setup registry key when i open browser it's come up with default value...
    hmmm
    what ur experience say regarding this
    how can change default values or possibel to delete page setup button or disable in from intenet explorer

    Did you reboot after deleting the registry key? I have no idea what effect deleting that key might have, but I strongly recommend backing up a registry key before deleting/altering it.
    I have already posted that I can find no way of doing that.
