I've come across a new problem: after installing an upgrade (v.6.01) for the SW Adobe Premiere (v.6.0), Windows does not power off (turn off) the computer after "shutdown" anymore!

Windows does go away, but the PC remains turned on!

Does someone knows which archives must have been modified that controls how Win2K shuts down, and how can I revert the situation?

    Complementing...

For those reading the original post, consider additional information: there were 2 software upgrades done before the problem came:
    1) Adaptec CD Creator v.4.2 to v.4.5, and
    2) Adobe Premiere v.6.0 to v.6.0.1.

After that, the PC never turns off when Windows is shutdown...

I just went to W2000 Pro.

Shut down wouldn't turn the power off.

I went to control panel/power options and put a check mark in the APM tab box. Now it works....While you are there, try the hybernate feature. It is really nice if you want to take up right where you left off.
