Hey all...I'm hoping someone can helpme with this minor problem from MS.

After installing the Internet Explorer Cumulative Patch as per Microsoft Security Bulletin MS02-005 the "OPEN" button is now greyed out when I try to open a file (*.jpg, *.tif, *.png) from a web page.

Does anybody know a fix (REG HACK??) for this so I can get the "OPEN" button again?

    Thanks much

dobhar--If you go back to the MS02-005 page you will find about 2/3's down the page
"Technical support is available from Microsoft Product Support Services. There is no charge for support calls associated with security patches. "
Maybe you should take them up on the offer.
Another possibility would be to Repair Internet Explorer. In IE6 and 5.5 go to Control Panel|Add/Remove Programs|scroll to Microsoft Internet Explorer|highlight|click Add/Remove. You should be offered three radio buttons. Check "Repair IE "|click OK.
