I believe it is called the Address bar. It's the part where you type the address of the website. It used to be directly under the Back and Forward buttons, etc., but now it's not. There is the word Address all the way over to the right, under the Windows flag symbol, but I click on it and nothing happens. Could anybody tell me how to fix this? Thanks.

click on the address button and hold down, then drag straight down till shows, and release button. Should do it. Post back either way.

When I left click on the word Address and drag, nothing happens. The word Address appears kind of greyed out, if that makes any sense. If I right click, I get a drop down menu, one of whose choices is Address Bar, but that is already checked.

Unlocking the toolbar was the key to solving the problem! Thanks for all of the help.

OK, maybe I spoke too soon. The top of my browser is back to normal, but not the bottom. There is usually a section right above the taskbar that shows how quickly a page is loading and also has the left/right slider if part of a page. That has also disappeared. I right-clicked on the taskbar and unlocked it, but there doesn't seem to be anything to drag into place. Thanks in advance for any continued assistance.
