I have a user here that is expierencing problems.
Whenever they click on a new message that doesn't contain an attachment, outlook opens it right up, however; if the email contains an attachment, outlook hangs for 330~45 seconds to a minute or longer and then displays the not responding in the top.

System resources are good, and the machine has been scanned with Spysweeper, Nav Corp, Spybot S&D, and AdAware which are all up to date.

Yes I know that if outlook is downloading an attachment then it will take longer to open, its the not responding that is worrying me, does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks

    The users OS?

If NT/2K/XP do you see any details in the users event logs?

Anything in the Exchange logs? If not, you might want to get a trial of This and turn on logging for that mailbox to see if the Exchange Server is involved in the problem.

And to clarify, your thread title is OL2003 but you say the user runs OL2002. Was one of those a typo?
