I was running my program, Ultimate Troubleshooter, and it said it could not get hardware information without this prgram.

    Hi WelshJim,

I'm sure it does, but somehow I must have lost it. Don't know how or when, but I downloaded the file and will install it later tonight.

Thank you both for responding. Your help is always appreciated.

sandilew--Don't forget DumbTerminal's post. Perhaps you have WSH installed, but have disabled it.
    Please tell us what happens.

Sorry Dumb Terminal, but no, I do not use Norton. I use Avast Home edition for my anti-virus program.

WelshJim, I may have disabled it, but don't remember doing that. Still, the download and installation worked, so I ran my Ultimate Troubleshooter program, and the error message did not appear. So apparently all is well and working fine now.

    Thank you both, very much,
    Sandie

sandilew--Thanks for posting back. Glad to hear the good news.
P.S. You can use the Norton NoScript.exe even if you do not run a Norton program.
