Right-click problem with Web images

Suddenly, when I right-click on a Web graphic, "Show Picture" is grayed out. I cannot find any problem in the IE settings that would cause this. I am on the road with my notebook computer on deadline and suddenly this has occurred. Does anyone have an idea how to fix it? Thanks.

 

Check in Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Multimedia section and see if the "Show Pictures" box in checked or unchecked. If it is checked then pictures will automatically show on a web page and the "Show Picture" item in the right click context menu will be greyed out. If the box is unchecked then the pictures will not show and just a "frame where the picture is should show. Right click this frame and the "Show picture" selection should be available.

Hope you can understand the above, easier to do than to describe.

 

Yes, I understand, only that isn't the problem. I did not explain the problem properly because I was so tired (I am in the middle of hurricane evacuation). At any rate, the problem is more obscure, but I think I have fixed it.

If it is just specific sites, it could be they disabled the right click menu with a java script to prevent theft of copyright images.
You can see if this is true by putting the site in the restricted zone .

 

oshwyn5--A right click|Open in New Window never works for me on a javascript link. But that does not seem the issue with the grayed out Show Pictures option mentioned by cafeslave.
