'Daily Limit reached', Proxy Settings?

    When I go to certain sites, for example Acronym Finder, I sometimes get a page which comes up saying I cannot search for any more acronyms until the following day, even when I have not searched once that day. I sometimes get this with downloads as well, once again, even if i have not downloaded anything. Could this be to do with the proxy settings? Or is it something else?

    Most likely a cookie that isn't being reset/replaced properly.
