zakbratch - Welcome to the Board :)

Please move hijackthis.exe to a folder on your hard drive such as C:\HJT (or download it again to that location) - the program does not run correctly from the Desktop or from a Temporary folder - run it again and post a new log.

Please be patient as our experts on HJT logs are thin on the ground at the moment.

Unzip HJT into it's own folder, it works better this way.

Download smitRem.zip and save the file to your desktop.

Download the trial version of ewido security suite.
Install ewido security suite and start the program from the icon on your desktop, then check for and download updates. Close for now.
    Ewido Setup

    Disable System Restore.

Open HJT, and click on 'Open misc tools section', then click on "Delete a file on reboot', a File Open window will appear. Copy/Paste the following into it.

    C:\win.exe

Then click on Open, and you will be prompted to reboot, select No at this time. Do the same for these.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\explorer6s4.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\combo.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\getoex32.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\ranfbhmf.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\find.exe
    C:\win.exe
    C:\winstall.exe
    C:\install.cab
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\logon.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\df.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\wpp.dll
    c:\windows\system32\ngsw31.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\nmju71tt.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\winldra.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\symcsvc.exe
    C:\WINDOWS\stubinstaller5975.exe

Rescan with HJT, and remove these items.

Find the folder this file "WinSB1.dll" is located in, and delete it. The name is in a dos 8.3 format on here and the entire name is not visible.

    C:\Program Files\WINDOW~4\WinSB1.dll

Run the Smitrem by doubleclicking RunThis, follow the prompts. Your screen may do some strange things, this is normal.

When that is done, do the Ewido Scan. Both of these need to be done in Safe Mode for them to effective.

When finished, reboot into Normal mode, and enable System Restore. Please post a new log.

You have only one item to remove with HJT. First go to Start\Run, type in Services.Msc and press Enter. Locate this in the list.

    Loading Outpost Connections

Left click on it to highlight, and then click to Stop the service. Right click on it and select Properties, and set to Disable.

Open HJT, and click on 'Open misc tools section', then click on "Delete a file on reboot', a File Open window will appear. Copy/Paste the following into it.

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmdtel.exe

Then click on Open, and you will be prompted to reboot, select No at this time.

Rescan with HJT, and remove this item, then reboot.

O23 - Service: Loading Outpost Connections (KDE) - Unknown owner - C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmdtel.exe (file missing)

You should be clean after this.
