We have a remote office that is permanently linked to the domain across a VPN link. The link is transparent and is set up through a PIX firewall at each end.

When remote users login, they are validated through the main domain controllers and group policies for setting restrictions, mapping drives etc are applied.

The only one that doesn't work is a policy that redirects user's My Documents folders to a common network location. It works fine locally but I can find no reason why it wouldnt work from the remote office. The link is slower than a LAN, but it is still an uncontended DSL line and although a little slower should still be ok.

There is a logon script that successfully maps a drive to the same set of network folders, it's just the redirection that fails.

Is there some kind of timeout limit on policy application that I can change?

    Any help appreciated

    Thanks
