uninstalling setup

    I uninstalled Adaware-SE then later reinstalled it. I now have 2 setup programs for adaware on my computer(XP). The 1st one relates to the 1st installation of Adaware & the 2nd one to the 2nd installation.
    Would it be okay I f I were to simply delete one of them, or does the setup program have to be properly uninstalled ?

    The setup program is the installation program.
    Adaware setup is called: aawsepersonal.exe and can be deleted.

    When installing adaware, it automatically will uninstall an earlier installation.re Are you saying that you have 2 installations of adaware in c/program files/lavasoft/ad-aware se personal ?

    No I just have 2 identical setup programs both called aawsepersonal.exe in different folders on my D drive.

    But only 1 installation of adaware in c/program files/lavasoft/ad-aware se personal.

    Sounds like you downloaded the setup executable twice - safe to delete one or both - up to you, but I would keep one copy in case you need to reinstall at a later date - saves another download.
