On my old setup when I right clicked on the 'My Computer' icon on the desktop and then clicked on 'Properties' I noticed on the information screen that comes up (the one that tell you what version of Windows XP you're running and also what CPU and Memory you have installed) that the shop that did the upgrade had put it's name to the left of where it tells you your CPU and Memory.Does anyone know how I can put stuff in there myself or would it have had to be done when I was installing Windows? :)

make a Bitmap of the item that you wish to display save it as oemlogo and copy it to the C:/window/system32 folder. this should work for what you are asking to have done

Thanks Sparrow - I knew exactly what bluenose12 needed, the old grey matter fades from time to time and my Googling was not up to scratch yesterday. :(

    Bookmarked :)
