I installed this critical update from Windows Update along with 5 others but this one is the only one I cannot download from the Download Center. Is it not available for download at the moment, or not available period?

If not available, can I somehow backup the installed version?

Seems the problem only exists with the Download Center.

Also, they say that the malicious software removal has been updated.

KB896727 is available at the Catalog site, downloading now.

WU > left panel Administrator options > Windows Catalog > XP SP2. Don't look under Home or Pro, don't know why they do it that way.

Thanks Charles. Figured it was only a matter of time after reading WhitPhil's link.

 

I think this is nothing at all and for that you can not find anything KB means knowledgebase and that number do not existe on the MS database.

 

It certainl exists!

And, the update link now seems to be working.

 

KB896727 Certainly does exiist.

It just got installed today ( along with three others ) on XP Pro by way of Windows Update.

This gives me an EXCELLENT place to test my Use of PrintScreen.

Or whatever it is. LOL

OOPS !! I see I goofed with the Windows folder. But this files are just underneath it.
