CD Burning

    If I have an avi movie which is over 700MB in size, what is the best method in order to put it on 1 CD ?

    put it on a dvdr or else split it into sections and burn to several cds.

    so you do not recommend those software utilities, which they claim to shrink the filesize ?

    Over 700Mb, but under 800Mb - look at 800MB CD's such as Intenso and Zero Defects.

    actually, i have tried some cds with 800 MB capacity ( i forgot the brand name ), however, i did not like their performance.

    In fact, most of the avi's I am talking about are under the 800 MB in filesize, that's why I was considering using a shrink utility to set their filesize to an approx 690MB. Do you recommend any particular such utility which does the job in a seamless way ?

    Sorry, but I have not used such software - but if you can find some freeware - give it a try.
