    OEM license - Server Crashed

I have a problem. My server just crashed, bad motherboard and CPU. I have a windows small business server 2003 (OEM, purchased as a system builder). I just got the replacement parts (not the same specs) for the server, but the server will not boot windows.

    Can anybody help me?

More detail and we can probably offer some suggestions.

    - OS loaded and won't boot? How far does it get and what happens?

    - OEM License - not sure how that relates to a non-booting server

    Server wont boot

The thing is that i talked to microsoft, and since the license is OEM, the operating system will not detect the new hardware as a valid one. (motherboard and cpu). Is there a workaround to this?

Hmmmm. I'm not sure about the exact cause of the problem but it may be that with your new hardware you will need to press F6 early in the setup process and load the correct drivers for your hardware. The OEM routine could be trying to load drivers for the wrong hardware.
