When I click on the View/Source menu item (Windows XP Professional), I get the 'Move Items' folder coming up. It wants me to select where I want to move Notepad. Then it appears again, wanting me to select where I want to copy Notepad.

I click the Cancel button each time, then the source page (in Notepad) comes up.

I haven't always had this problem, but I suspect a setting has changed without my knowledge.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thanks

    Hi wthrman,

    Try this:
    1. Delete all Temporary Internet Files.
    2. Set Temporary Internet Files to 80 MB or less.
    3. Remove the shortcut to Notepad.exe on your desktop.
    4. Restart your PC

Thanks for that Ski, removing the desktop icon fixed the problem :) (I'd done everything else before).

    Cheers
