Right Portion of Web Page Fails to Print

I may be in the wrong Forum - if so could someone move me please.

Occasionally I will try to print a web page in Internet Explorer and a small portion on the right of the screen will not print. This also happens in Outlook Express at times. Most pages now have a "Printer Friendy" option that takes care of that problem. Does anyone know if there is a solution to this problem where there is no "Printer Friendly" option?

Now why didn't I think about that? Seems like I can remember the question and your answer coming up at some time before my memory deserted me.

 

virginia--Another solution (at which PeteC has hinted), if it really is "only a small portion" that will not print. When you are at the site you want to Print, click File|Page SetUp|in the Margin area set all four to as small a number as possible. (Usually setting all to 0 will eventually result in the smallest number, which will not be zero.) OK. Then File|Print.

 

Thanks for all the suggestions. Experimenting with them I was able to print out enough so I don't have to refer back to the screen now.

An interesting note - I went back to the website using Firefox and I was able to print the complete text - but the text was smaller. I wondered why and I looked at the Page Set Up for Firefox and it has a "Shrink to Fit" option that was checked. I guess that is the Default. This board makes me more learneder all the time.
