    Clif,

I see that you are using the SkyPilot Theme, so I installed that Theme on both Mozilla 1.7.10, and Firefox 1.0.6. I found in both browsers that the pages you referenced were fully loaded.

Now, when you actually scroll to the bottom of the pages, are they fully loaded? I mean, is all the material there?

    Ramona\Westside,

    Ramona,
"Sometimes" if i scroll down, it may add a little more, same thing with doing a
reload. Sometimes it does nothing more. Reloading the complete page may
gain a little or may do the same as initially going to that page. Rarely will it
finish the page completely (reloading or scrolling down). I know this isnt much
    help......

Westside, I'm with you - trying to stay away from IE as much as possible which
is the huge majority of the time.

Maybe this can shed some light?
Under Docs\Settings\Owner\ApplData\Mozilla I show both Firefox and Profiles.
On the same folder level, i have a Profiles folder, Pluginreg.dat and Registry.dat.
Opening the Profiles folder shows savagcl, opening the savagcl
    shows Moptmaok.slt

Clicking on the Firefox folder, i see Profiles, Pluginreg.dat and Registry.dat
(these are for Firefox (oddly enough).Opening the Profiles folder shows
savagcl, opening the savagcl shows 98ojuaqo.default

Now the strange part - under Docs\Settings\savagcl\APPLICATION DATA
(yes, in caps) it also has a Mozilla folder with the next level down being
a Profiles folder and Pluginreg.dat and Registry.dat again.... Opening the
profiles folder shows savagcl, opening savagcl shows Moptmaok.slt

Its confusing, so heres a flowchart.jpg that shows it better.

Maybe this can shed some light?

Lights are on with the first two paragraphs. There should be a Mozilla and a Firefox paragraph in one App.Data folder. I have an All Users, Default User, Local Service, and Network Services folders, all of which have Application Data Folders, but no evidence of Mozilla or Firefox. And the one named after me with the information given above.
You to made this Owner, and give him/her a piece of your mind.
I have 25 folders in the same App.Data as Mozilla, representing all my program which require a folder there.
Something odd must have happen with the installation of WinXP. You should check the dates of the different folder.
Do you have two person signed to use the computer, or did you have some breakdown which required reinstalling WinXP, and you just forgot that you had used a previous name?
    Lights going out, very rapidly.

    clif,

I don't run WindowsXP, so will leave that to Westside, however it is amazing that you show the same *.slt for both Firefox and Mozilla? Maybe that has to XP and maybe not, but it shouldn't be happening...

You and Westside will have to figure this one out!

Hold It! I think i see some light myself.

I removed (un-installed) all 3 browsers then deleted the D\S\savagcl folder.
Rebooted and emptyed all the garbage. I then re-installed netscape only i
created a new profile (clif) and have it setup.
I then re-installed mozilla only i created a new profile (savagcl) and have it
    setup.

Seems to be fully loading pages fine.

Maybe the conflict was having both mozilla and netscape using the same
profile (savagcl).... This way, with different profile names there dosent seem
to be a conflict (at least, i dont have anything new in the D\S folders).

If i understand correctly, Mozilla and Firefox can use the profile name and
maybe some files but they are togeather under mozilla.org in D\S. And
    separate in Program files........

I'll know soon. Have to take the boss (spouse) out to dinner then i'll
re-install firefox and see whats what.

Stay tuned for next thrilling chapter.

    clif,

    Gadzooks!

That's what it looked like to me, but I wasn't sure since you are an XP user, and so glad you figured it out. Using the same Profile is a big fat NO NO for Mozilla and Netscape! Firefox uses a separate Profiles folder so that would provide no problem. However, for the sake of eliminating any confusion, I would suggest always using unique profile names, regardless.

Clif, you are ok. I just came from another newsgroup, and after 41 posts, we may be seening daylight. It can be frustrating because it is necessary to cross-examine the other guy, and you get it done.
But, I don't mind. I resent people who demand explanations for their problems, first.

    savagcl,
I failed to see anything wrong with the page loading indicator from the picture you attached.

    Antony,
I did not comment on that, because it did not merit discussion. I am seeing no loading on .jpg #1, incomplete loading for 2 and 3, and complete loading for 4 and 5. But, look at the times! Not loaded at 9:34, partially loaded at 9:28, then 9:20, then 9:21, and finally 9:16.
Clif must have a Time Machine!

    Antony,

Those jpg's represent the loading bar (for lack of knowing the real term) for a
web page. The bar shows loading (of a page) from left to right.
A completely loaded page would have only 1 color, partially loaded pages
have a different color on the right side of the bar (the unloaded part of a page).

    Westside.

I did a PSP capture of all jpg's and saved them to a folder so it was just a
matter of attaching them 1 after the other, and hoping they would all be ok
    for viewing.
Interesting idea - a time machine with a WinXP PC for controlling it. No telling
where you would wind up.... :) Just imagine, a trip to the past and getting
the dreaded "program not responding" or "you must restart your PC to
complete the installlation of this program ", or "404 ".

    Thanks for the compliment,
