When I make WMP to full screen, it used to completely disapear so the video was the full screen. All of a sudden, it now has the top bar and the bottom (where the volume and stuff are) when I go to full screen.

I've tryed several things I think are relavent in the files munus but nothing makes the top and bottom completely go away like it used to. I'm useing WMP 10 on XP Pro. Thank you, Chris.

AFAIK that is the default full screen - at least it is on my m/c - WMP 10.

No idea how you achieved a 'fuller' screen.

Watch where your Mouse pointer is. If I take my pointer off screen then I get the Full Screen. I have WM Version 9.00.00.3250 and Win XP Pro. See Below:

OK, I think I know what's going on. WM 9 can go full screen, but WM 10 can't. If I remember right, it started when I went from 9 to 10.
    That's stupid, 9 can but 10 can't.

I'm running WMP 10.00.00.3646 -- Full Screen works for me.
With a video file running ... From View Tab drop down box ..
    Have "Full Mode" active
Hold Alt Key, then click "Enter" (toggles setting) -[OR]- (select/click "Full screen ").
Will change to "Full Screen" mode ... it DOES have Top and Bottom Bar in view.
    BUT
Cursor can NOT be touching either bar. Once cursor is not touching bar, takes about 2 seconds .. bars disappear - in true "Full Screen" view. Any cursor motion, bars return. Cursor sitting on bar, bar's always in view.

    ALSO
On the top tool bar - on right side see 3 icon choices.
See "Stick Pin" icon (in horizontal view)
When you hoover your cursor over the stick pin, it should say ...
"Hide full screen controls automatically "
If a different phrase appears, click on the Stick Pin to toggle it to auto.

    Dennis L,
What you say about WM v10.0 holds true with my v9.0.

OK I got it by going to the upper right like the previous post said. Thank you very much. I watch video from my HD on my TV. The top and bottom bars made watching TV kind different. Thanks again,
    Chris.
