Just what program have you installed or uninstalled that would need the IPX protocol for the internet? A game maybe?

There are a couple of things you can try...
you can try to bring up msconfig (Start-->Run-- type in: msconfig)
and look around for "_4AE13-1.EXE "
If you can't find it there, then bring up regedit and try to find it there and remove all reference to it...
    *** Warning ***
Before editting your registry make sure to back it up

    :)

Not an easy way to find out, by now anything to do with an uninstall is long gone.
What you have is a 16-bit, meaning dos, driver loading at startup.
rctech's idea of searching the registry for it is a good idea. What are you looking for?
First have Windows Explorer set to Show Hidden Files and Folders. You find where to do this under Tools\Folder Options, click on View tab.
    Look under this folder
    C:\Windows\Installer
Under that folder, you will see folders named {bunchoflettersandnumbers}, the one you want starts with "1B9C6... ", look in it to find the file that starts with "_4A13 ", get the complete name as "_4A13~1.exe" is a shortened version, then go to Start\Run, type in Regedit and press Enter. Then do a Find in the registry for the complete name.
Post what you find for it.

Since it's appearing in a DOS screen, the file is "attempting" to be run from the Autoexec.bat file.

Edit C:\autoexec.bat and look for a line referencing "_4AE13-1.EXE

Then, in the front of that line add the letters REM

Save the file, exit and reboot.
