    hi could you please send info ,have xp . on startup always( cannot find (longpathename.exe) go to registry , this makes life very black as I am a beginner . the pc works ok but now i want to come out of my cage and fight this daemon . sorry if this problem is not very stimulating . thanks .( To old soon to late smart)

    Click on Start->Run and type: msconfig -> Look in the startup tab for any reference to the file and UNcheck it.
