    Hi iujmheb
There is always a risk, or chance.
Make sure you have a good anti-virus program running and that it's up to date. and something like SpywareBlaster and IE SPYAD installed to help protect from dialers and such.

I look at it this way. I try to be careful and do what I can to protect myself and then have fun surfing.
If you are not going to surf because of possible risks, you might as well not be online at all, because there is always a risk.

Either JavaCoolSoftware (Spywareblaster) or the IeSpyads file suspects that site. I can go there, and Myspace comes in as a definite Restricted Site, no {unknown} Mixed Zone about it.
I have found one site in the IeSpyads file, where the name sounds like a site that should be in there, but do they do nothing to deserve placement in it. Maybe the same with Myspace?
I see this as I am looking at the eTrust icon. Ah well, I am guessing they only verify the existence of a privacy policy.

The myspace.com website is owned/operated by Intermix, which recently (around mid-June) reached a settlement with the New York Attorney General to pay fines and cease and desist in the distribution of spyware/adware etc. Intermix claims they have ceased all such distribution, which is probably why Dave is not currently seeing anything there. If you frequented the website prior to the settlement, you may have acquired some nasties and might want to consider posting a Hijack This log in the virus removal section.

If in fact they have cleaned up their act, it will probably take awhile before they are removed from the restricted sites designation they have earned.
