Installers wont run

Hi,

I recenty reinstalled Windows 2000 and ive found that some installers wont run. I got neary everything on that i needed but ive found that some installers wont run.

After double clicking "setup" or something, the hour glass appears for aseccond (not used to seeing that) then eveything goes back to how it was before - asif ive never clicked.

When i shut the computer down the installers then run untill windows shuts down fully.

Does anybody know what could cause this?

Norton 2005 and NoAdware cant find anything. Ive tried disabling these things wilst installing but it makes no diffirece

Anybody had this before?

 

Do you make a clean installation?
Can you see the install process running in background?
Waht kind of installer are you talking about?
