Media Player Classic

    I gave up the MS Windows Media palyer & useing Media Player Classic which is nice & doesn't make so much problems like WMP , the only thing is how to make it the default player in XP ???????

    Try this ....

    Windows Explorer > Tools > Folder Options > File Types and associate those file types you want to use with MPC.

    In MP Classic click, View>Options>Formats and check all the media file types you want MPC to handle. Or just click All & Apply.

    Also you can right click on any given file, click open with, search for classic, check "always use this program to open this file type ". It won't make it default for all media, only the media with the same extension. An MP3 for example.
