Everytime i print a photo from my daughters MultiPurpose 700 (MP700)Canon printer the
printed result appears to have a light blue or purple tint to it. Kinda like a plastic film
of blue/purple was laid over the photo. This happens to the complete photo so it has
nothing to do with skin tone, or any other specific tone.

I've gone through the color alignment and head cleaning several times - no help there. The
manual says to select the most solid color for each setting.

Canon doesnt have a forum or anything like that where i could post and maybe get some
    specific help.

    any suggestions?
    thanks,
    savagcl

I don't know the problem as I've never used a Cannon printer but it's not impossible that it could be the photo paper. Make sure it's a compatable paper. You can use any paper but some brands are better with different printers.

    jaylach,

Yes, I've tried several kinds of paper, matt, plain, photo. All the same blue film. I ve
also tried PSP, Picasa and EasyPhoto (from Canon), no change.

    thanks,

    Hi Savagecl,
I had the same problem once with another model of Canon, it took me ages to cure. In the end it turned out to be a faulty cyan ink cartridge - not airtight so too much ink was being laid on. Might be worth trying another set of ink cartridges.
